The first thing that comes in mind whenever we step our feet on Malaysia ground is “What a scorching hot weather!” and this kind of weather has always been attracted people especially Malaysians to gulp in or wolf down something cold and refreshing. What’s next in our mind? Ice cream!
So our team in the Les Yeux have come up with some of our favorite cool cafes, literally.
1. Softsrve

They used to open a branch in Pavillion KL but the tiny dessert cafe closed a few weeks ago. Thank God, there’s another one in Petaling Jaya!

All you ice cream maniacs must have a go on this one when you’re there. This one is called Cereal Milk – Breakfast and the price is as good as how they taste! For only RM 12, you get this beautiful looking ice cream and an instagram-worthy food selfie. The soft serve was topped with half a mini macaron shell and perhaps 2 tablespoons of crunchy cereal. Definitely a must!
Address: 31, Jalan SS21/1A (located between Capital Nasi Dagang same row as The Good Batch), Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya.
Opening Hours: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Closed on Mondays.
2. Kakigōri

Have you ever felt like having a sweet and cold Japan treat but you’re not Kim Kardashian enough to travel to another country just to have one? If Kakigori doesn’t scream Japan, then I don’t what it is! We tried the Uji Matcha kakigori with red beans, own-made warabimochi & kinako milk which is only for RM17. I couln’t even finish one kakigori by myself because it is too ginormous.
Address: Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur at 4th floor.
Opening Hours: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
